Gift Shop Clerk



Incumbent is responsible for sales of all items located in the Gift Shop, assisting casino customers in a polite and courteous way, as well as providing up-to-date and accurate information on casino events and/or promotions. Incumbent is also responsible for stocking inventory, providing exceptional customer service, protecting company assets and helping Player’s Club when needed.

  • Provides positive, proactive, customer service to all casino customers.
  • Provides positive, proactive, customer service example to other casino employees.
  • Ability to operate cash register, conduct cash/credit card sales, and balance shift bank as well as operate other office equipment as needed.
  • Routine stocking, cleaning, and other general maintenance as required.
  • Provides information to players and other employees on current casino events and activities.
  • Greets all customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome; remains calm and attentive, especially during heavy casino activity.
  • Maintains a polite, professional and attentive behavior at all times towards customers and employees.
  • Acknowledge known and repeat players in a polite, courteous and professional manner.
  • Ensures compliance with Tribal, State, Federal, and NIGC regulations.
  • Ensures control/protection of company assets.


  • Current California Driver’s license.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must qualify for Tribal Gaming License.
  • Should have good customer relation skills.
  • Ability to follow directions, written or oral.
  • Indian preference.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen test.
  • Must be age 21 and older.
